Humans begin to develop baby teeth at the age of six months and are naturally replaced by permanent teeth six years later. 

Teeth play a very important role when chewing, swallowing, or talking, but they are sometimes lost due to trauma, aging, or various oral diseases.

The loss of teeth greatly affects the appearance and function, depending on the location. Even the teeth become twisted, causing discomfort due to the change of face shape or poor authoring function. This is why experts emphasize that the space where the teeth are missing should be replaced as much as possible.

Recently, digital technologies such as digital X-rays and 3D-CT (computer tomography), oral scanners, and facial scanners have begun to be applied to implants, aesthetic prosthetics, jaw joint treatment, and orthodontics 

In particular, it is widely used for implants, especially dental implants. A dental implant is a procedure that restores teeth using implants in the absence of teeth at all.

According to Park Hyun-min, CEO of Lucid Dental Clinic (Gangnam), it is desirable to perform the entire implant using a digital guide in a non-chronic state.  

Director Lee Park explained, "This is because diagnosis should be careful and placed in an optimal position, and various treatments such as bone transplantation or maxillary colostomy may have to be performed at the same time." 

It is added that most patients with no alveolar bones are in the absence of many alveolar bones, so it is desirable to check whether they have detailed examination equipment. In addition, the thickness or shape of the bone and the distance from the neural tube are considered as considerations for all implants. 

Director Park advised, "As the implant needs to be placed in the correct position so that the maxillary and mandible can be occluded well, we should use customized digital technology as much as possible considering the angle of placement or depth, the size of teeth depending on the patient, and the restoration of the authoring function." 

In addition, it is added that dental clinics that handle only high-quality genuine materials should be selected as they should be used semi-permanently and whether they should be treated or not.
